You might’ve spotted celebrities or extra security around town a few weeks ago. You were right: A-listers and politicians were in the desert attending a wedding.
Former CAA agent Michael Kives and nonprofit attorney Lydia Gray tied the knot at The Parker in Palm Springs Nov. 16., according to The Hollywood Reporter. The ceremony featured some recognizable special guests, including former president Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton.
Kives previously worked with the Clintons. The two gave a speech during the nuptials. “She could’ve made a pile of money and she chose to go to the ACLU,” Bill said, referring to the bride.
Katy Perry, Sia and “Anything Can Happen” singer Ellie Goulding also attended and sang. Gray thanked them for performances that “blew us away.” Gray’s message of gratitude was lengthy, which included photographer Kristen Marie Parker and friends.
Also in attendance were actresses Jessica Alba and Reese Witherspoon, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger.
When reached by phone, hotel management said The Parker doesn’t share info on guests.
On Tuesday, Gray shared a photo of the two in India, with the caption “Our India honeymoon.”
