SINEAD Tinker has a huge surprise for Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street next week – a wedding he has no idea she’s organised.
As the week kicks off, Sinead – played by Katie McGlynn in the ITV soap – orders an unsuspecting Daniel to meet her in the Bistro for lunch. But an unsuspecting Daniel wants to avoid Bethany Platt and announced that he’s decided to take their baby son Bertie out for the day.
But Bethany – Lucy Fallon – tells him that, for Sinead’s sake, he really has to turn up at the Bistro.
Daniel – Rob Mallard – relents and, when he turns up for lunch, he’s amazed to see Sinead waiting in her wedding dress.
The couple embrace, very much in love. But soon, when she doing Sinead’s hair, her aunt Beth is horrified to find a lump on her neck.
Sinead is terrified but quietly takes Daniel to one side and breaks the news that she’s found a lump.
Daniel reels but Sinead tells him to try to bury his fears and enjoy the day. But as they cut the cake, Daniel is overcome with emotion and rushes out.
Concerned, Bethany heads out after him, but Daniel refuses to talk.
He eventually returns and makes an emotional speech, then Daniel and Sinead dance through the tears.

Later, after going to the hospital for a scan, Daniel suggests he books them a mini-moon to take their minds off of the results. But their plans are scuppered when Sinead gets a call asking her to go in that afternoon.
She and Daniel are floored by the news that Sinead’s cancer has spread and is now in her lymph nodes and liver.
The consultant tells them that Sinead only has three or four months left to live, leaving the couple absolutely bereft.
