CHE Proximity and Condor with Tourism NT have come away with the most amount of shortlisted entries in the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards for 2020.

Condor with Tourism NT managed to feature on the shortlist for the Award for Innovation, Best Use of Native or Content Marketing, Ad Campaign of the Year, the Award for Bravery and Breakthrough Destination of the Year.

The nominations were driven by the feature film Top End Wedding.

Tourism NT launched a new destination marketing campaign to target holiday visitors to the Territory to leverage the anticipated interest from Top End Wedding.

The Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards take place March 12 at the Four Seasons in Sydney

The campaign included extensive media placements with targeted TV, digital media, social platforms and PR activity.

CHE Proximity, meanwhile, earned shortlist spots in the Award for Bravery, Social Idea of the Year, Best Use of Data, Best Influencer Campaign and Best Media Strategy categories.

This year’s shortlist revealed an array of different brands and agencies making the cut at least once, representing an extensive cross-section of the travel marketing industry.

Judges will come together next week for the live judging day where they will discuss the shortlist in person and decide on winners.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Four Seasons hotel in Sydney on March 12, directly after the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Summit at the same location during the day.
